How it works

1 · Play anything out loudSpotify, records, radio, a band — if the room can hear it, Glowchurn can see it. No accounts, no pairing, no cables.
2 · It listens and reactsBeat and energy detection drive thousands of community-crafted MilkDrop visuals. Drops hit hard. Chill stays chill.
3 · Stunning in HDRTrue high-dynamic-range rendering — highlights literally glow brighter than white on HDR TVs and MacBooks. Old visualizers can't do this.

Questions

Does it work with Spotify / Apple Music / vinyl?
Yes — all of them. Glowchurn listens to the room through a microphone, so it works with anything you can hear. On desktop Chrome it can also capture a browser tab's audio losslessly.
What is MilkDrop?
The most beloved music visualizer ever made (Winamp, early 2000s), with thousands of community-authored visuals. Glowchurn runs that lineage on modern hardware, in HDR. Preset credits & takedown policy.
What do I need for the TV?
Today: any TV browser, or cast/HDMI from a laptop. This fall: a native Fire TV app — that's what the founding preorder funds.
Is the browser version really free?
Yes, free forever. The paid product is the TV experience.
